Oh boy! What else is there to say. This is the comfort cookbook of comfort cookbooks.
When my copy landed on my kitchen counter I stood with my mouth wide open (and drooling I think), saying WOW for at least a full ten minutes.
OK, that in itself may not be reason enough to pick up this great new book. But, if you like this type of food, Sunday Roasts: A Year’s Worth of Mouthwatering Roasts, from Old-Fashioned Pot Roasts to Glorious Turkeys,
and Legs of Lamb, is one you can not miss.
I’m not going to get into a whole review thing right now. I’m going to save that for another time in the near future. But, suffice it to say, Betty Rosbottom’s guide to the roast is a must have for those who love a lazy, delicious Sunday meal.
